SupportWith1040.com is a sub-licensee of the CCH CompleteTax online tax preparation service. We direct individuals to our licensed CCH CompleteTax website to prepare their taxes online and we receive a fee for every completed and paid return. When we collect our fee from CCH, at least $8 ($5 from every federal and $3 from every state return) from every completed and paid return is contributed to the organizations chosen by the taxpayer on our website.
CCH, in its current form, was founded in 1913, the year the U.S. federal income tax was created. However, the company's roots go back to 1892. It is one of the most respected company names among accountants and attorneys.

In 2005 we e-filed over 88% of our clients' returns, significantly reducing our paper and toner consumption. We also file all of our individual, corporation, and partnership extensions electronically, saving even more paper, toner and fuel.
Although significant, electronic filing is only one of the sustainable business practices at our organization. Our employees and their families benefit from flexible scheduling and the ability to do work at home. In-house waste reduction includes recycling of consumables, use of recycled products, and energy saving settings on our office equipment and heating and cooling systems.
